Concordia is the famous place on Baltoro Glacier. Around Concordia are clustered some of the highest peaks in the world. Four of the world's fourteen "eight-thousanders" are in this region, as well as a number of important lower peaks. Concordia offers the region's best point for camping in front of the 4 giants of Karakoram, an ideal location to trek for mountain enthusiasts not involved in climbing. With breathtaking views, it also offers short hikes to several important base camps: K2 ( 8611m )(three hours), Broad Peak ( 8047m ) (two hours) and the Gasherbrums ( 8068m ) (three hours). Concordia is the junction of Baltoro and Godwin Austin Glaciers with several other tributaries.

We drive from Skardu the headquarter town of Baltistan, known as little Tibet. Offers a gateway for Adventure lovers to the beautiful valleys of Shangri-La, “Heaven on Earth” to Askole, the last permanent village on the Braldu River in Shigar valley of Baltistan, to K-2 base camp locally known as Choghori, the second highest peak on Earth, has been highlight for the adventure lovers to enjoy the magnificence of this giant peak. The trekking route goes along the Braldu River, and joins in Baltoro glacier. Concordia, which is the confluence of Godwin Austin and Vigne glaciers, offers the most commanding views of K-2, Broad peak, Gasherbrum and many countless peaks of above 7000-meters. This is an adventure beyond your imagination.

            22^nd June 2012:-                          Arrive Islamabad. Transfer to hotel for overnight.

     23^rd June 2012:-                          Briefing at Alpine Club of Pakistan. 

     24^th June 2012:-                          Fly to Skardu or drive by coach to Chilas,

     25^th June 2012:-                          Skardu preparations/Drive to Skardu.

     26^th June 2012:-                          Drive to Askole(3,050m).

     27^th June 2012:-                        Trek to Korofong(3,080m).

     28^th June 2012:-                         Trek to Jhola(3,190m).

     29^th June 2012:-                         Trek to Paiju(3,400m).

     30^th June 2012:-                         Trek to Urdukas(4,000m).

     01^st July 2012:-                           Trek to Goro (4,300m).

    02^nd July 2012:-                           Trek to Concordia(4,700m).

    03^rd July 2012:-                           Excursion to the K-2 Base Camp.

    04^th July 2012:-                           Trek back to Paiju.

    05^th July 2012:-                           Trek to Askoli.

    06^th July 2012:-                           Drive to Skardu.

    07^th July 2012:-                           Flight to Islamabad or drive to Chilas.

    08^th July 2012:-                           Rest day at Islamabad or drive to Islamabad.

    09^th July 2012:-                           Debriefing at Ministry of Tourism.

    10^th July 2012:-                           Departure from Pakistan.
